TOWNVILLE, SC -Billy Joe Keith, age 74, of 1100 Old Dobbins Bridge Road, Townville, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Dayton, TN, he was the son of the late Hubert Keith and the late Clancy Irene Wycoff Keith. He proudly served his country for 21 years in the United States Air Force retiring as a Tech Sargent. Following his military service, he then became employed with Clemson University, later retiring after 30 years of service. Bill was a faithful member of Barnett’s Grove Cathedral of Love.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Sue Myers Keith of the home; three sons, Darren Robert Keith of Clearwater, FL, Billy Joe Keith, Jr. of Townville, SC and Brett Keith and his wife Katie of Townville, SC; two brothers, Kenneth and Robert Keith; three sisters, Sherry Olinger, Darlene Hale and Debra Self; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Lynn Keith and a brother, Donald Keith.
The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at Barnett’s Grove Cathedral of Love on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of The Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, TN. Interment will follow in Buttram Cemetery in Dayton, TN.

ANDERSON - Jeffrey Allen Radnor, 69, of Anderson, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
Born December 19, 1943 in Media, PA, he was the son of the late Ernest and Jewell Anderson Radnor. He was a graduate of the University of Evansville and earned his Master’s Degree from Indiana University. Mr. Radnor served as a principal in several schools in Anderson School District #5; he served as Superintendent of Anderson School District #3 and retired as Assistant Superintendent of Instruction for Anderson School District #4. He was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where he served on the Endowment Committee.
Survivors include two daughters, Julie Usherwood and husband, Robert of Anderson and Jennifer Owens and husband, Michael of Spartanburg; three grandchildren, Holden and Katie Usherwood and Nicholas Owens; and his companion, Jackie Lenhart of Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church conducted by Pastor J. Chris Fischer. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Dove’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Elberton, GA. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall.

ANDERSON - Mildred Sharpe Foust, 83, of 107 Princess Avenue, wife of Bill G. Foust, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital, Greenville.
Born May 15, 1930 in Augusta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lynard and Ella Mae Horne Sharpe. She, along with her husband, Bill, managed Pine Lake Golf Course.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Foust of the home; two daughters, Debbie "Doober" Elaine Foust of Augusta, GA, and Laura Michelle Foust of Texas; three sons, Demi L. Foust of Greensboro, NC, Michael Lindy "Butch" Foust and his wife, Susan of Athens, GA, and Billy Gene "Chip" Foust and his wife, Jerrie of Anderson; grandchildren, Emily, Virginia, Mary Lincoln, Devon, Taylor, Lindy, Laura, D.J., Gunner, and Wells; brother, Thomas L. Sharpe of North Augusta; and a sister, Patsy Sharpe Hancock of Suwanee, GA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Alford and Martha Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Bob Marcaurelle and Rev. J. Floyd Stansell. Following the service, there will be a reception at the Ravines Club House on Life Style Lane. The family is at the home of Chip and Jerrie Foust, 307 Meeting Street, Anderson.

Edgar Rudolph LeCroy, age 66, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013at his residence.
Born in Anderson, SC he was the son of the late Henry Grady LeCroy and the late Mary Elizabeth LeCroy. He was specialized in detailing cars.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lucia Ann LeCroy; one son, Phillip Ray LeCroy of Anderson; and one niece, Tammy Pickens Goff of Belton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at The McDougald Funeral Home.

ANDERSON, SC -Charles Crenshaw, Jr., age 79, of 102 Ethelise Cirlce, Anderson, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013, at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Townville, SC, he was the son of the late Charlie Joshua Crenshaw and the late Josephine Whitfield Crenshaw. He proudly served his country in the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He was a former member of Eureka Baptist Church and a current member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children, Keith Crenshaw and his wife Darcy, and Tina Hinman and her husband Craig; a sister, Zonelle Glenn; four grandchildren, Ryan Addison, Meagan, Hope and Jacob Crenshaw.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 40 years, Julia Cordelia “Dillie” Turner Crenshaw; two sisters, Maebelle Adams, Vermall Rogers; and one half sister.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Dr. Kirt Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Military Honors.
The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Betty Rene Conrad Minter, age 56, wife of Carl Dewayne Minter, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Carolina Medical Center in Pineville, NC.
Born in Anderson, SC she was the daughter of the late Charles Brantley Conrad and the late Hazel Elizabeth Sisk Conrad. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband and their two daughters, Sharlene Hammond of Gallipolis, OH, and Christy Wallace of Charlotte, NC; three brothers and four sisters; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 10:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with the Reverend Ron Fousek officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Robert (Bobby) James Rice, Jr., age 57, husband of Tammy Rice, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Greenville, SC he was the son of Robert James Rice and the late Alice Louise KuyKendoll. Mr. Rice had worked for over 10 years as a maintenance supervisor at Richard Campbell Veteran Hospital; he had also worked with his father at R & R Plumbing. He was a member of the Iva Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was an avid fisherman, race car fan and enjoyed building model cars.
In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by his two sons, Rocky Russell and his wife, Regina of Ray City, GA, and Steele Russell and his wife, Lauren of Donalds; sisters, Carolyn O’Shields of Greenville, Geraldine Bell of Greenville, and Peggy Ann Wallace of Powersville;grandchildren, Melina, Brookelyn, Trent, Emily, Scott, and Suade; nieces, Teresa Jones, Vickie Bryant, Karen Turner, and Tracy Harris; nephews, Todd Wallace and Eddie O’Shields; step- mother, Thelma Ann Rice; father and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Linda Alley; and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a nephew, Charles Stephen Bell, II.
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the McDougald Funeral Home, with Reverend Billy Pinson and Reverend James Rice officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories, Belton.
The family will be at the residence and will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at the funeral home.

ANDERSON, SC -Barbara J. Campbell, age 77, of Anderson, SC, passed away on March 15, 2013 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late Jrew Brown and the late Isabel Hammond Brown. She retired from True Temper Manufacturing with over thirty years of service.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband, J. Ralph Campbell of the home; one son, Randy (Theresa) Campbell of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Pam (Buck) Hill of Sioux Falls, SD; two grandchildren, B.J. (Nathan) Coyle and Parker (Mark) Phillips; as well as five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Milton J. Brown.
The funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Campbell will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11:00AM at Forest Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Owen and Pastor Richard Lister officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.

William David “Buba” McGee, age 73, of Iva, SC, passed away on March 15, 2013, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late Joseph Holcomb McGee and the late Lila Mae Carver McGee. Mr. McGee retired as a custodian from Anderson School District 3. He also worked as a construction electrician, for many years. Mr. McGee attended Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Sue Shiftlet McGee, of the home; one daughter, Lynn Powell of Iva; three brothers, Cecil “Butch” McGee (Ruby) of Anderson, Joe “Mac” McGee (Carol) of Iva and Steve (Kathy) McGee of Anderson; two sisters, Margaret Richardson (Donnie) of Canon, GA and Cindy Burdette of Anderson; two grandchildren, Amanda Powell and Dylan Powell and one great-grandchild, Baylee Clark.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McGee was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Dale McGee.
The funeral service for Mr. McGee will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 4:00PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Duncan and Rev. Carol McGee officiating. Interment will follow at South Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, from 2:30PM until 3:30PM.

Starr, SC -Cathy McAlister Phillips, age 58, wife of Donnie Phillips of Starr, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at The Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late W. Furman McAlister and Vivian Latham McAlister.
Cathy was a graduate of T.L. Hanna High School, class of 1972, and Forrest College. For over 30 years she was employed in the Anderson County Clerk of Court’s office and was elected Anderson County Clerk of Court in 2000 where she served for the last 10 years of her career.
Since age 10, she was an accomplished musician and was the church pianist at Poplar Spring Baptist Church in Iva for over 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie Phillips; son, Jason Phillips and his wife Betsy; daughter, Ashley Phillips Rutledge and her husband Bill, and 3 granddaughters, Lauren, Kimberly, and Regan.
She is also survived by her mother, Vivian Latham McAlister and a brother, Tony McAlister and his wife Phyllis and several nieces and a nephew.
Cathy was a member of Starr Baptist Church where her funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 3:00 pm. The Reverends Tony Howell, Ed Hunsinger and The Honorable Judge Cordell Maddox will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 6pm until 8pm.

ANDERSON - Charles Wilson Wright, 83, of Anderson, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born December 30, 1929 in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Benjamin Tillman and Eula Mae Shaw Wright. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Wright was a retired Industrial Engineer with Ryobi and later owned and operated Earth Pest Control. He was a member of NewSpring Church and was a former member of Concord Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Gregg Wright and wife, Amy, Robin Wright and wife, Caroline, all of Anderson; grandchildren, Cameron and Wesley Wright, Haley Wright, Logan and Landon Wright, Morgan, Dillon, and Dustin McDougald; great granddaughter, Maddison Wright; sisters, Louise Cole of Charleston and Irene Gunnells of Anderson; brothers, Oliver N. Wright of Williston and Raymond Wright of Greenville; and his special friend and caregiver, Jerri Newman of Anderson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Kathleen Stancil, Elizabeth Garrett, and Helen Vaughn, and two brothers, Lumus Wright and Millard Wright.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Bob Marcaurelle. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Friday at the mortuary, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson.

ANDERSON, SC -Frances Owen Kowalski, age 91, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson County, SC, she was the daughter of the late J.R. Owen and the late Blanche Kay Owen. Frances began school at four years of age at Welcome School and graduated from White Plains High School in 1936 with honors. After graduating from Anderson Junior College in 1938, she continued her studies at Limestone College in Gaffney, SC and graduated in 1940 on the dean’s list. Over thirty years were spent in public education beginning at Cross Roads School teaching several grades all in one room and serving as principal. Later at White Plains School, she taught English, supervised the junior plays, dances, and the junior senior banquets. At Wren High School in Piedmont, SC, she taught English, Literature, and became the senior sponsor in charge of graduation ceremonies. After retiring from the public school system, she continued to teach English at Oakwood Christian School in Anderson, SC for four years. In her latter years, Frances was a passionate reader and a lover of crossword puzzles. Frances grew up in the Beaverdam Church community in Williamston, SC, where she enjoyed singing in the quartet at church. After her marriage, she joined Midway Presbyterian Church in Anderson, SC and was an active, faithful member serving as Sunday School teacher, circle leader, traveling member of the Adventurer’s Club, and assisted in organizing and tutoring through the Anderson Literary Association.
She is survived by her children, Wilton Lane Kowalski and his wife Judy of Anderson and Suzanne Ponder and her husband Mike of Spartanburg; four grandchildren, Karen Kowalski Peerson and her husband Robert of Asheville, NC, Amy Ponder Whitt of Boiling Springs, SC, Mary Beth Ponder of Sarasota, FL and Rebecca Ponder Deviney and her husband Grant of Spindale, NC; and six great-grandchildren, Zachary Owen Whitt, Kathryn Nichole Whitt, Emma Grace Deviney, Aaron Grant Deviney, Christopher Nash Peerson, and Isabelle Grace Peerson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wilton Kowalski; one grandchild, Christopher Lane Kowalski; one brother, James Robert Owen, Jr.; and four sisters, Stella Johnston, Wilhelmena Mahaffey, Catherine Webb and Alton Rodgers.
The Funeral Service honoring the life of Frances will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Midway Presbyterian Church with Reverend John McCallum, Dr. Mickey Rice and Reverend Mel Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
